How To Showcase Your High School Senior Pictures To Last A Lifetime

As a professional high school senior photographer, I'm a firm believer that heirloom quality products are a must to ensure your pictures last for generations.

Let me back up for a minute. When I first started photographing high school seniors, I was what was called a "shoot and burn photographer". That meant I provided only digitals to my clients. The burden of doing something with their images was left up to them.

I can't tell you how many people I come across still to this day, who say to me - I never did anything with Joe's senior pictures. Nothing breaks my heart more than hearing that.

Here's the thing....you can't frame or display a digital image. It's forever stuck somewhere until you print it.

All of my product collections for high school seniors include an heirloom album along with printed pictures and some level of digitals, because let's face it, everyone loves digitals to share across social media. My top collection also includes the option for wall art.

But the focus of this blog is to showcase my beautiful heirloom albums. Why albums you ask?

How many of you have fond memories of looking through old style photo albums? Each page tells a different story, sets a different scene.

Having an album is the perfect way to remember your high school senior exactly as they are in this moment and for years to come. Properly cared for, an album will literally last for generations. Albums can be left out as a coffee table piece as a constant reminder of a sliver in time.

Deciding where to print an album can lead to decision fatigue. Figuring out how to design and order the album is usually the end of the road. People give up. I find that clients are much more inclined to print pictures to keep and give away, but the idea of an album is so overwhelming. So I do it for them.

The lab I use for my albums has been carefully picked from dozens of labs for professionals only. Their albums are assembled by hand with curated, high-quality materials to be cherished as an heirloom. The albums I offer have a true photographic paper in a semi-gloss finish. This allows for excellent skin tones, sharp details and accurate color.

I pride myself on offering a stress free high school senior portrait experience. By offering my clients a top of the line album to fully showcase your high school senior and their session, it's one more thing you can check off the list of an already busy year.
